Louisville Zoo
The Louisville Zoo serves as a living classroom, helping students of all ages develop an appreciation for and sense of responsibility toward the treasure of animal and plant life on our earth. With our new online registration, it’s easy to schedule your field trip to the Louisville Zoo.

The MacAdam Student Observatory staff are pleased to welcome the public to our facility. We present a program of public outreach on the second Thursday of every month.

The Lexington Arboretum
The Arboretum is the official State Botanical Garden of Kentucky. Located in Lexington on the University of Kentucky campus, The Arboretum boasts one of the most unique plant collections in the country. Challenger Learning Center of Paducah

Our school mission programs are based around a comprehensive curriculum, which is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards and Kentucky Core Academic Standards. Missions and activities also include 21st century skills such as problem solving, communication, decision making and creative thinking.

Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary

The Clyde E. Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary-Trust and Audubon Center is nestled among the rolling Bluegrass Hills, approximately 60 miles east of Louisville, 20 miles west of Lexington, and 10 miles from south of Frankfort and 10 miles northwest of Versailles.

Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest
Within Bernheim's 14,000 acres you will find a nationally-recognized arboretum, beautiful gardens, tranquil lakes, a nature center, large expanses of scenic natural area, 30 miles of hiking trails and a 12,000-acre research forest.
