The Sternberg Science Camps program at Fort Hays State University is offering virtual summer camps for 1st-12th graders this summer, including topics such as paleontology, wildlife biology, volcanology, scientific illustration, and astrobiology. They will be using new interactive virtual environments to create more social, exploration-based learning opportunities, supplementing the camp kit boxes sent to students in the mail, and short instructional lessons delivered by their teaching staff. Scholarships are also available on a need and merit basis,

There is an open house for our new virtual exploration learning worlds on April 17th from 11am-2pm CST. Individuals interested in attending should email David Levering at DALevering@fhsu.edu to ensure they receive the access link. The event will take place online within GatherTown.
