Nominate outstanding teachers for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching! This award honors exemplary K-12 mathematics and science teachers for their contributions to improving teaching and learning. The application deadline for elementary teachers is May 1, 2008. The Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching is the nation’s highest and most prestigious honor for teachers of science and math. State winners are recognized at a ceremony in the White House and receive a $10,000 cash award. The award is open to teachers of science and mathematics in grades K-6 for 2008.
