School Teams Needed for Technology Project

The Tracy Farmer Center for the Environment has been awarded $1.2 million to implement community-based projects with a heavy technology emphasis.  We will be working with 10 middle and/or high school teams to investigate natural resource issues within the community and constructing 3-D models and GIS models to study those issues.  Students and teachers will be displaying those models and maps throughout the state and attending various conferences to talk about the results of the investigations.
If you are interested in the opportunity to learn about cutting edge technology, please contact me.  I will be happy to visit your school and present you will more details.
