Kentucky State University invites you to apply to be part of a professional learning and student enrichment opportunity this summer through the Agriculture, Food, and Environment Academy. Teachers will come to KSU for a two-day educator experience on June 28-29 for an all-expense paid workshop with guest presenters from state government, NRCS, KSU, and more. Participating teachers will have the opportunity to bring their students back to KSU throughout the 2016-17 school year forfully funded field trips to our Environmental Education and Research Center or on the Kentucky River Thorobred, our floating science lab on the Kentucky River. This initiative is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Capacity Building Grant Program.
