Educators—It’s April and Earth Day is around the corner.
Will you join us in the momentous launch of the inaugural Climate Education Week April 18th-25th? We are promoting climate education for K-12 students.
Check out this ClimateEducationWeek video
In preparation for Climate Education Week, we have released the Climate Education Toolkit to assist educators in instructing the basics and importance of climate change. EDN has provided this toolkit free of charge.
To access to this free resource, please visit Earth Day Network’s website at: www.climateeducationweek.org
The Toolkit provides teachers with a week’s worth of:
· Lesson plans
· Short videos
· Poster contests
· Service learning projects
· Earth Day action ideas
· And a whole lot more!!!
…all aligned with NGSS & CCS!
Each day covers a different theme! Join us in engaging and empowering students to become today’s climate educated, green economy leaders. We also encourage schools to plan an Earth Day event. Implement an energy action plan, plant a garden at your school, host an ACE assembly…. Record your event as an‘Act of Green’. We have already reached over 1 billion ‘Acts of Green.’ Help us get to 2 billion this year!
