Kentucky Division of Emergency Management PSA Video Contest

The Kentucky Division of Emergency Management (KYEM) is excited to announce
their sponsorship of a Public Service Announcement (PSA) video contest.

An earthquake could occur anywhere in Kentucky at anytime. Unprepared
Kentuckians are more likely to be injured or killed in an earthquake. The
purpose of the video contest is to increase earthquake awareness and
preparedness and therefore save lives in Kentucky.

Students are challenged to produce one (1) PSA, 30 seconds in length, which
explains how to prepare for an earthquake or how to protect oneself during an
earthquake.

Two (2) Cash prizes will be awarded in the amount of $1000.00
A)    Best entry by a high school student
B)    Best entry by a college student

All videos must be received by close of business January 13, 2012. No video
submissions will be accepted after that time.

Please help us by forwarding to education professionals and High School or
College students that you believe will be interested or could use $1000.
